Unity 2D is now available for Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick and 11.04 Natty

And’ can install Unity 2D is the latest stable version of Ubuntu (10.10 Maverick Meerkat), and is in the next version 11.04 (Natty Narwhal).

Unity has become a standard 2D Personal Package Archive (PPA) which will be called ‘Unity-Qt’. You can simply add the Unity 2D repository, apt-get update, and install. In this video we see 2D Unity in Action:

Ubuntu: install ubuntu via wubi in windows 7/xp

I am writing this article Google Chromium installed on Ubuntu Desktop 10.10 per amd64 bit using the software Wubi.

The only thing that I disagree with the graphic of the latest version of Ubuntu are positioning 3 button closure, line on the left side and enlargement of windows, I feel useless and leads to user disorientation used with windows that windows has 3 booty on the right.

What is Wubi?
Wubi is an officially supported by Ubuntu software for Windows users that lets you install and uninstall Ubuntu like a Windows program, in a simple and safe.
