Hacking for humanity in Silicon Valley and around the world

Two years ago, representatives from Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, Hewlett-Packard, NASA and the World Bank have come together to form the program Random Hacks of Kindness (RHoK). The idea was simple: technology can and should be used for the good. RHoK brings together experts in the field, Software developers and designers of open source software. The 4-5 June 2011 will Random Hacks full third of global events with the collaboration of 5 U.S. cities and 13 International sites, giving to the community of local developers the opportunity to work on the problems of people.
“The community has already developed some applications RHoK focused on crisis response, as I’mOK , a mobile messaging application for disaster response, which was used on the ground in Haiti and Chile, and CHASM, a visual tool to view a map of landslide risk is currently being tested by the World Bank in areas affected by landslides in the Caribbean. Persona Finder , a tool designed the crisis response team of Google to help people find friends and relatives after a natural disaster, was also refined at events RHoK and used effectively in Haiti, Chile Japan.
We are inviting all designers, Developers, and anyone else who wants to help “hack for Humanity”, to attend one of local events the 4-5 June. There, you can meet other open source developers, work with experts in climate and disaster issues and contribute code to interesting projects that make a difference. If you are in Northern California, Come join us in the Valley RHoK evento Silicon Valley a Google headquarters.
And if you're part of an organization working in the field of crisis response or
climate change, can submit a statement of the problem online , so that developers and volunteers can work on developing technology to meet the challenge.

The changes and becomes Javaday Codemotion
For four years Javaday Rome has offered a unique event in Italy for content, turnout and spirit. The captivating atmosphere of Javaday has earned and involve the participants and sponsors. To continue to be the landmark event for developers, the Javaday evolves and becomes Codemotion.
Codemotion takes a big leap compared to Javaday: open to all languages and technologies, catalyzing even more sources of creativity and job opportunities. Finally, shifts the focus from a product (Java, At that time, Sun, Oracle now) to a discipline: programming, benefit of all.
The Codemotion be held in Rome on 5 March 2011.
The entrance to the event is free as always.

What Codemotion
The program will be defined by Codemotion Call for Papers open to public. The selection of proposals will be mediated by an evaluation of official representatives of the community, is connected with the various languages that software development.
During Codemotion we can deliver to companies sponsor their curriculum vitae for new opportunities.
The agenda of the day will include an intense week of technical talk and an afternoon sessions will be organized where Ignite.
And’ when defining a competition to reward the best innovative ideas developed by young university students from all over Italy.

Contributing to the program Codemotion
Until 18 January 2011 you can send your talk proposals for participation in the first edition of Codemotion, The event is open to all languages and technologies.
The selection of proposals, received via the form on the event website, an evaluation will be carried out by the official representatives of the Italian community, connected with the various languages and software development, collaborating with the Codemotion. The selected proposals will be made public in February and will be included in the official program of Codemotion.
Codemotion Javaday is the evolution of Rome and will be held Saturday in the only 5 March 2011 in Rome. During the event, participants can take part in an intensive morning of talks in the afternoon technical sessions are planned for the presentation of innovative ideas and technical workshops.
Codemotion takes a big leap compared to Javaday: open to all languages and technologies, catalyzing even more sources of creativity and job opportunities. Finally, shifts the focus from a product to a discipline: programming, benefit of all.

The program Codemotion, more 65 interventions on the agenda
Who participates in the know Codemotion that take part in a marathon unique technique.
The program Codemotion provides more than 65 assistance distributed 7 parallel, Ignite sessions and a workshop on mobile.
The Codemotion is the evolution of Rome Javaday, this edition of the event is open to all languages and technologies.
There are many challenging issues facing: Html5, Twitter, Database No-Sql, Game Development, creation of mobile applications, comparison and new languages. It will also discuss Android, Operating Systems, architectures… the purpose of Codemotion is to stimulate the community to create better software that can better withstand the inevitable impact of time.
Each intervention Codemotion wants excite participants. To arouse public interest and nourish their passion are the objectives that define the event. The talk does not purport to teach, but to facilitate the subsequent process of learning.

After days in which I have had a tremendous decline of voice and therefore unable to make my lessons for my classes, Today I take the lessons of the course in C #.

First we need a development environment that helps us in planning. Certainly in recent years have made great strides to Sun (parent of Java now bought by Oracle) to simplify the installation of a development environment for Java.
