Iphone less popular Android

December 14th, 2010 2 comments

Andy Rubin, Google VP of Engineering and responsible for the development of open source platform Android for the mobile market states that are activated every day 300 thousand phones based on Android OS.

This is equivalent to 27 millions of devices each 3 months, twice as many iPhone Apple managed to sell over the same period. Android has climbed the rankings and was ranked second in market share.

Google's strategy for the mobile industry seems to be right just because the trust has secured some of the major handset manufacturers, Smartphone e tablets.

Android has nothing to envy to that proposed by Apple, Nokia, Rim e Microsoft, and plus it's free, Android operating system is not subject to any license fee. This enables handset manufacturers to pass on models on the market with a profit margin higher than that achieved with models “normal” with proprietary systems like Microsoft, Symbian about Apple.

Google is not interested in earning sull'harware but on services like advertising as witnessed by Susan Wojcicki, senior VP di Google, Ad Mob, service equivalent to AdSense, said that manages more than one billion queries per day.

Google has failed Wave

August 5th, 2010 No comments

Since its presentation I did not understand the usefulness of Google Wave and what he brought back to the hi-tech and web 2.0

Today, finally, the same company admitted bankruptcy and closure of the project, as you can see a successful company like Google is wrong.

The latest reports say that competition is working on a project to facebook, I make my prediction, facebook lose here because it is too far and has achieved tremendous success not be repeated.

The rule of common sense that anyone has the right insight develops and the first winner of the other.
To make a successful example of the Google search engine has won over all in advance and because Microsoft Bing-chasing with a lot of effort.
